Peace and Order in Communities

A community cannot thrive without everyone feeling safe and trusting that the law is not a matter of political convenience. Peace and order in communities across Edmonton, but specifically downtown and in the river valley is a priority for TAPYEG. We will achieve this by:

• Collaborating with EPS to ensure that their funding requirements and  strategy is commensurate with police services in other jurisdictions delivering exceptional service to their communities

• TAPYEG will double the funding for Community Standards Enforcement Officers (Peace Officers) in order to reinforce their obligation to provide and security for all.
